Painted Pictures

Lifelounge asks whether photorealism, that is replication of photographs in paint, is art or merely technical brilliance. Is brilliance not in existence however you choose to categorise it? If you ask me, these realistic paintings are amazing either way.

I couldnt believe that middle one was actually a painting! Its amazing.
